The Paternalisation Piece @ Queeristan, Amsterdam,

29-05/01-06 2014

The Paternalisation Piece @ ‘Secret Art Space’, side show Rotterdam Art Fair, 06-02/09-02 2014 Rotterdam

guerrilla performance, the revolution song (see text) in a church in Reykholt: Iceland, as a result of our residency, courtesy http://www.fljotstunga.is artist residency.

Our diagram: This map-like structure lends itself to be zoomed in on details to then be filled in with language, statements, fields.

Every input is a field with poetic, semiotic or philosophic concerns as new terrain. But we are holding this map against a realistic light, asking ourselves and/or our new surroundings questions concerning the family and family-like structures: is this a family, a neighborhood, a collective, a network, a village, a social hell, a ghetto, a refuge, a gallery?

Can we talk about reproduction not only on a biological scale; tissues, cells and genes but on a son-physical scale as well? In saying we produce artworks, relations and insights. Can we do that without becoming a religion a rigidness but more like opening up a flow of possibilities?
